History of Christ the King SCC

The SCC’s name came from the Holy Family tree. We were initially born from Mary Mother of God SCC then expanded  to Christ the King in January 2020. It covers the shopping centre of utawala downwards to Fagilia area.   Due to COVID challenges, the jumuia started running fully in 2021 and held it’s first anniversary and Feast Day on 19th November 2022 that was celebrated by Fr. Moses Wekesa.

The SCC has held various activities as per its calender of activities among them visiting New Beginnings Children Home in Utawala, church cleaning, Retreat at Komarock Shrine, on 23rd March 2024 house blessing for all members  by Fr. Peter Nnamdi Chekere and visiting the sick.

The SCC boasts of a vibrant cosmopolitan mix of members that represents face of Kenya.
